The first Heat of a first proper series for years. Here in the US Championship I wanted to have the first Heat showing off a basic overview of what to expect. Whilst most robots are randomised in whatever Heat/episode they're in, Heat A was structured with a veteran DWR machine in The Revolutionists, a strange robot in Test Toaster One, a destructive one in Mauler and other varied machines like a flame thrower in Solar Flare or lifter in Hannibal, basically it was meant too shine and blow people away, get them interested in the American machines. And for what it's worth it's great...except for the glitches. The main issue with the Resetti Wars Replicas is that the "havoc glitch" occurs a lot! Robots randomly hitting each other in an awkward spot and flying all over the place. This meant that some competitors could never enter the arena as a result of these issues, such as The Bat which I 100% wanted but everytime a battle would start it would fly into the void from the get go and the camera seizured. Sad and annoying.

US Championship
With the success of the specials and the enjoyment had using the Resetti Wars replicas, 2023 offered three new Series of Diotoir's Wacky Rumbles, an international fest where foreigners get to battle it out in their own championships. The first and most major was the US Championship, once again using commentary and featuring a mini series of sorts with the best US Robots around. There were so many choices and I feel a few US Robots missed a chance but it didn't matter because in this series we see some of the most varied and obscure robots in the show's history such as the very first flying robot! Time to get American!
Specials Battle of the Champions
If there's ever been a massive Robot Wars fantasy, it's a Champions Annihilator where EVERY champion battles it out to be crowned the best of the best. This is a short episode but a passion project as it gave the prospect of a Champions Annihilator and made it "real". Sadly because of the way Robot Arene works, you can only have 4 robots at a time but that didn't stop the battles from going ahead. Here 8 champions battled it out with one robot eliminated each battle, like an actual annihilator, all up until the final two. It maybe one of the shortest episodes but my god is it one of the best! A fantastic way to end the Specials season.
Specials Weapon Wars
Once again with the new Robot Wars mod, again testing the waters with the new robot additions, here we see the return of Weapon Wars which ends with the best weapons battling it out to see who's best. Not much to say but it's great to witness Weapon Matches again, however, like with History Havoc it's a weaker entry.
Specials History Havoc
After Series 4's release an updated Robot Wars+ mod was created, which had a few more competitors, ones cut from the final release initially. The funny thing about it is I had, during Series 4 revealed how I managed to get Thermidor and Razer to work, and hey presto they were in this new mod! I do wonder sometimes if Series 4 may have had an influence...Anyways, using this mod, we take a break from Resetti Wars, and we dive into the history of the UK robot combat scene...with battles! First is the very classics in the First Wars arena with the top four, Roadblock, Panic Attack, Cassius and Killertron, then the golden era with Razer, Chaos 2, Hypno-Disc and Pussycat followed by the live events era and the reboot era (which fun fact I had to temporarily delete the DWR arena just to get the 2016 arena added) History Havoc isn't as good as the rest, admittingly it's quite underwhelming compared to the prior episodes but we see different arenas and a glimpse at the added robots from the new mod!

Specials Second Chance Insurrection
I really wanted to avoid using "insurrection" as a title due to it being overly used in Robot Wars but I couldn't come up with anything good for the title. Here it was originally going to be DWR round 1 losers but I decided because of the amount of Resetti Wars replicas there was, and the fact that many would never appear again, I went with round 1 losers from Robot Wars in this large competition to give them a second chance. Of course picking who to appear was tough as many failed to appear like W.A.S.P. but wanting to create a diverse range of robots meant many did not appear. That said, another great episode from the Specials.

Specials Electrodome Extermination
One of the greatest fights happened in Series 3 called the "Electrodome Rumble" which was epic and insane, truly a wild and destructive fight. I've always wanted to go back to the Electrodome for more battles, so when discovering the Resetti Wars Replicas that had load more competitors and maps, it was a given that I should use these robots for competition. And so for the first time ever, we use Resetti Wars Replicas rather than the typical Robot Wars + mod. The competition was simple, four mayhems, two winners from each in the electric arena , then a round 2 in the Electrodome with two melees with two winners from each and a final to see who is best. What we got was, if not, one of the GREATEST episodes of Diotoir's Wacky Rumbles. Pure unadulterated action with varied machines from beginning til end. The episode's name was the hardest part to decide as I really couldn't come up with a name that had "e" in it, other than extermination, must admit I wish I found a better name but this episode is wonderful! Fantastic from start to finish and it almost makes the first rumble in Series 3 look pale in comparison.

Specials Featherweight Championship
The Featherweight Championship was originally filmed for Series 4, in fact Series 4 was to end with two extra specials, the first was the Featherweight Championship which was filmed all the way back in 2020 and left to rot on the computer hard drive. However, Featherweight Championship would be brought back and included as the first episode of the "Specials" series which was done for fun. Here, the tiny featherweights battle each other in the arena with some honestly hilarious results! Truly one of the funniest episodes in the series. Oh and first time in proper widescreen 16:9!
Specials
The Specials were created after the success of Robot Wars The Alternative Wars and the infinite possibilities that Resetti Wars Replicas mod included. This series was created to see what interest there was in Diotoir's Wacky Rumbles and to have some fun with random events and rumbles. In the end, interest was regenerated and a passion was reborn...
Series 4 Grand Final
The Grand Final and we have four fantastic robots, three of which are crushers! Razer, Big Nipper, Tough as Nails and Thor bringing in an epic finale for one very, very long series...Because of the length and how brilliant the final battle was, this was going to be the final ever episode of the show completely. The editing and production troubles resulted in a awful time putting this series together and the dwindling views was discouraging as a result, this was going to be the very finale of the show itself...
Series 4 Semi Finals 2
So...so...close now to the end! The final 8 competitors and only two places left in the Grand Final. One thing that was attempted was to force the flippers to battle each other so that they can eliminate each other to prevent another flipper dominant Grand Final...which in the end worked!
Series 4 Semi Finals 1
After 16 Heats, we FINALLY hit the Semi Finals and one of the best things is, editing became easier! You see the thing that took the longest to put together was the statsboards, as they were animated and based on the Series 3/4 Robot Wars statsboards, it resulted in robots being filmed individually, with zoom ins and maybe the weapon showing off. Then you have individual animations for the top and bottom statsbars where they come from two different directions. Finally a blue effect and text appears for the end result. Imagine that for EVERY single 96 competitors. Yeah it took ages with other activities IRL to do around. So here we have the first 8 competitors battling it out for the Grand Final.

Series 4 Heat P
The final Heat and if I can recall this was actually released when I was in Birmingham for a stag do for my friend's wedding (which I believe happened on the day Chris Chan got arrested for the messing with his mother). This final Heat sees Disc-truction in Hypno-Disc and Last Rites, it's always a shame that Hypno-Disc has NEVER gotten to a semi final and it really deserves to! We also see Cunning Plan, a lightweight against heavyweights as well as COPYRIGHT INFRINGMENT a Huge ripoff that so wanted the wheels to be torn off but instead it did really, really well, plus it's a great custom robot. A great final Heat and one of the best episodes!
Series 4 Heat O
Almost to the end now, here we see one of the lowest view counts in the series, I can't blame anyone as the series was going on for so long and the Heats were drawn out and by this point attention died out. Shame really because we have Razer, Terrorhurtz, Chompalot and Gabriel all in this episode! Such a great cast yet because of the production problems a massive dip in viewership!
Series 4 Heat N
This Heat had a massive technical/editing error in which footage for this episode actually ended up lost! Whilst the description claims it's got audio but no footage, the truth is the original footage was accidentally deleted and no backup made...so what happened was I grabbed a default image of myself and created audio for this specific episode, meaning that whereas the other episodes were all filmed in 2019, this one actually was recorded in 2021, not the battles though, those were all from 2019! Here we see Big Nipper once again as well as Panic Attack for the first time in main competition! It also has a DSL robot in Snowjob (yes I get the name!) appearing which was cool.
Series 4 Heat M
The final four Heats and the last four places for the Semi Finals. In Heat M Iron-Awe has technically downgraded from Iron-Awe 7 to Iron-Awe 6, the reason being was actually because of how glitchy IA7 was as that robot got stuck on the arena and seemed to awkwardly wheelie around. The downgrade is in essence an "upgrade" actually. We also see Kronic and PP3D as wella s Kan-Opener in a Heat very similar to the IRL Robot Wars Series 8 Heat D.

Series 4 Heat L
In the previous Series, this would have been the final Heat before the Semis, here there's four more Heats. Released during a period of depression, the episode is short and the description for it is basic. Here, it has one of the shortest matches ever and a very short time frame for an episode, broken years later by the US Championship's Grand Final. This Heat also contains a Arenas of Destruction robot Porcupine in the main championship which is great as well as Tornado finally doing quite well!
Series 4 Heat K
The year is now 2021, the series began in 2019...Technically prepared in 2020 but delayed AGAIN! Here we have spinners galore again with Apex, Barber-Ous, Jolt (which is literally a reskin Carbide...) speaking of Jolt, fun fact, Jolt's name was from a Transformers character. Overall, it's an interesting episode as a very unlikely winner emerges in Toxic 2 who I always left out of the series because it didn't appeal but here it is doing very well...

Series 4 Heat J
After some dull Heats, here comes the spinner Heat. This Heat contains some of the most destructive fights such as poor Thermidor 2 being ripped to pieces or Swarm just spazzing out and losing parts. Speaking of Thermidor 2, we FINALLY have this amazing allstar/flipper a robot I really wanted in the competition for so long! Thermidor 2 unfortunately was put in the Heat with a million spinners...Also Salad Tosser was a surprisingly fun machine and one I kinda wished I had in before...For me one of the best episodes here.
Series 4 Heat I
Heat I was released just before the Uni season and the second major lockdown, only five days after Heat H. Interestingly, M2 finally makes an appearance which to be fair it probably should have appeared beforehand even if it's kinda a dull machine. Honestly, not much in this one it's a midpoint episode where interest sort of drops off.

Series 4 Heat H
The midway point of the series, 8 robots done, 8 to go and a massive jump in delay, from April to September 2020, another major lockdown occurred after restrictions were lifted briefly. Here we see Diotoir return but also Tough as Nails doing really well. We also have a really cool custom robot called Outside Job and there happened to be a massive recording error in the Tough as Nails vs Diotoir match which happened to cause some concern and edited in a way to reduce the issues that were present...
Series 4 Heat G
As lockdown continued to make life Hell, it was strangely therapeutic to put together these episodes as there was now practically infinite amount of time (save for University) That said, Heat G was released a month later than Heat F, again the delays becoming more frequent but also the fact that less views and less desire to create the series became more apparent. However, I am a completionist and I really don't like leaving things unfinished. This Heat does also contain a massive shock of a Semi Finalist and the shock managed to boost up views for a bit.
Series 4 Heat F
Heat F was released on the 27th March 2020 whereas Heat E was released all the way in August. This is most likely the moment interest in Diotoir's Wacky Rumbles died out and the massive delays started getting longer and longer. In hindsight editing all episodes (or at least all except the final) first would have made things easier rather than on the fly and missing deadlines...That said a little worldwide event took place, may of heard of it the Coronavirus pandemic occurred and everyone was in lockdown, which meant more time for DWR Series 4...

Series 4 Heat E
Meggamouse and Dantomkia are two crowd favourites and in a Heat that's relatively boring these two stand out massively, it's a flipper frenzy in a way with the inclusion of Rapid. Not much to say on this one other than it's surprising how Meggamouse has never gotten to the top two...

Series 4 Heat D
It's amazing how a US championship wasn't formed until 2023 as this Heat shows how much fun the American robots are. Here Megabyte and Sewer Snake battle the British in Ripper and Carbide, who is more improved from the basic looking Carbide from last series. It's also here that production problems start to show itself as there was a significant gap between Heat C and Heat D....

Series 4 Heat C
Of all the champions, Beast is by far the most brutal. It's start in life was petty but after Series 1 it became a monster and this Heat shows its might just again. Despite this Beast still hasn't reclaimed the title but is raw power is something to appreciate. This Heat also shows us Supernova's debut in the competition and Mortis in a main championship. A fun Heat with some fantastic robots! Interestingly this Heat used a new recording software for the first time which would be used from this Heat to now.

Series 4 Heat B
Heat B really shows how the old guard is unable to compete against the new blood, here we see future German Champions beat Weird mAlice the Series 1 champions as well as Thor, who hadn't had the best of luck battling and now entering the Semi Finals! Interesting Heat to show the change of time.
