Series 4 Heat A

 The true start of the series and we see one of the biggest shocks ever as the reigning champions are knocked out during the Heat! Of course that's not the only thing that happens. We see a slight change in the format as we get an extra battle, just for fun, which is a "third place playoff" where the two Round 2 losers battle it out for a extra battle. It should be noted that this was originally going to be leading to a large rumble/annihilator style special that never came to be, basically all 16 winners would battle each other with only one survivor but because of the massive production issues it was cancelled, but these third place playoff battles are still there as an extra battle. It is rather funny how the sacrificial robot, Bullsquid, managed to survive the first round despite being made just to die. It's also worth noting that the show is fully 4:3 now rather than awkwardly shifting in aspect ratios.
