The first series of Diotoir's Wacky Rumbles is a very simple series. It featured only 40 competitors, used the default Robot Wars arena and was recorded using a free version of Fraps which meant it kept cutting out every 30 seconds...and had "Fraps" at the top of every episode. It also didn't help it was recorded with Robot Arena 2 features like robot health and points earned/lost, as well as having to control certain robots.
Initially this was inspired by the success and popularity of then show Banter Wars created by A Heap of Games. Of course whilst it was inspired also by Robot Wars' 2016 reboot, the first series still has many great fights and despite its simple editing and basic display, it certainly is the personification of the phrase "we all gotta start somewhere".
